Great Canadian Rewards at Casino Ajax

Great Canadian Rewards is the rewards card of the Great Canadian Entertainment casinos in this guide, and Casino Ajax is one of them. The card works at 12 of the 30 casinos covered here. All 5 in Toronto & GTA take it, as do 3 in Hamilton, Niagara & Brant and 4 in Eastern Ontario. No card in this guide works at casinos of two different operators.

There are two ways to apply. The first is online through greatcanadian.com, with a valid government-issued photo ID and a mobile phone with a camera for a photo of the face. The other is the Guest Services desk of any Great Canadian Rewards destination in Ontario, Casino Ajax included. There, a valid government-issued photo ID is enough to complete the application. Applicants must be 19 or older and not banned from a Great Canadian Rewards destination or self-excluded.

What is on the floor

Casino Ajax is a casino in Ajax, run by Great Canadian Entertainment. It sits in the Toronto & GTA region of this guide, alongside four other casinos. The doors are open 24/7. To confirm holiday hours, a visitor can look at the casino's own website.

The floor holds 500 slot machines. Live table games are not listed. Three amenities appear in the operator's own rundown: Electronic Table Games, Slot Machines and Restaurant & Bar. For food and drink there is the Getaway Restaurant, which is 19+. Questions about the casino can go to its toll-free line, 1-866-445-3939.

Getting in

The address of Casino Ajax is 50 Alexander’s Crossing, Ajax, Ontario L1Z 2E6. An outdoor lot on the property offers free parking.

Adults 19 and over may enter, as that is the legal casino age in Ontario, and anyone under 19 is turned away. The operator's code of conduct reads "We ID under 30", so staff ask for ID from anyone who looks younger than that. At the door, guests need a valid, original photo ID issued by a government, plus a second photo ID. Both pieces belong in the pocket before the drive over.
